Alone with you.  That in a nutshell describes my feelings about internet relations.  I still want my ZeRO t-shirt.  I guess, that won't be happening.  I'm learning to live with this decision only because, I have to.  I wonder, if this site turned out to be what Dead Man had envisioned.  I have a blog with all my posts on it equipped with mixclouds.  I guess we will have to visit a lot of blogs from now on.  Every time a door closes a new one opens.  Thanks, enough for caring to make a plea for us all.

I just used "Please, Please, Please" by The "5" Royales on a mix and, other than the fact that it doesn't have "Don't" in the title it is in the lyrics and would go well here as well.  I second your sentiments and hope that, like the Rolling Stones saying they are doing one last show, that the show will continue to go on regardless; at least if not in this venue than another one (did that site by Sledge of MTC ever get off the ground?).

James Blackshaw and Richard Thompson are an awesome pairing...

Add "Honey, Don't" by Carl Perkins and "Don't" by Mike + the Mechanics.

I want to echo Pete's comments 100%. I also respect Todd's decision and the reasons for it, and I'm grateful for what he's done. This has become much more of a community than I ever expected it to, and I feel as if I know many members quite well, despite having only met one of them (derhay). When I saw Todd's announcement, the second thing I thought of (after "Oh, no!") was, "I wonder if I could run this site." Short answer: No, I have absolutely no idea how to manage a web site, which is the primary reason I don't have one of my own.

I also have enough crap lovely random events going on with my life that I don't know if I could take on a project like this, no matter how well-intentioned I might want to be. I've grown to like it here and I don't want to see it disappear, although I also am trying to think of this in the context of a Sondheim lyric: "Stop worrying where you're going, move on."

Another fine FtHoI. Diggin; the opening pair, Alabama Shakes, Thin Lizzy, Fahey and the closing pair especially.

I hope it isn't either Rob. Stonking good mix, love that RT track in particular!

Many great picks here, especially that 2-6 run. And I'm a sucker for any mix with the Smiths.

Exactly what MS said. You can't go wrong with a healthy dose of Ella.

I love that early Genesis track.

That 5-7 run looks good. This is a mix to get lost in.

I agree, Brother Tex. If there's a higher power, she's made of the most powerful love of all.

Gah!  Ok, hadn't read those earlier posts.  Damn.  Very sad.  Maybe we can convince Facebook to use some of its new multi-billion-dollar market cap to finance an AOTM/ZERO-type site with adequate IT resources to prevent malicious hackers from ruining it for everyone.

Cryptic comment -- explain?! Run out of cdr's?  No longer enjoy music?  Decided to give up mixing to dedicate yourself to helping the Republican Party wage its War on Women?

Anyway, cool mix.  Yuck was among my faves from last year (along with the Vaccines).  Nice to see the rare nod to the first, truly underrated Genesis album.  Great Ogden's Nut-era Small Faces.  And the Billy Bragg closer is among my favorite songs of all time -- both the lyrics, from the Mott the Hoople quote to "if you've got a blacklist I wanna be on it," and the sing-along crescendo that always gets me shouting along til I'm red in the face.
