In Japanese Miko means female shaman, soothsayer or witch.  Miko is very old now but she still remembers. Many people remember what Miko did and some remember what Miko didn’t do.  When these people are questioned as to what it was that Miko did or didn’t do, no one remembers the details, but it was terrible, too terrible to ever speak of. Most of these people are too young to remember the war. The only war that they know about is the one they are fighting on their playstations. Miko has no family, at least none she will admit to but of course there are rumours. Everyone who knows of Miko has heard rumours,  Miko lives alone with only the mountains for company. Miko writes many letters, some of which she sends. She writes mostly of the mountains, describing them in great detail. How they change in appearance depending on the  time of the day. In her last letter Miko stopped mid-way through describing the early morning mist and wrote:   ‘I wanted to survive so I did what I had to. Wouldn’t you? And if not, why?’ Then she returned to the mist.

I am guessing from your notes, the lovely artwork and the tracks I do know (3,7,15,17,25) that this would be a mystical atmospheric treat.

Looks fantastic, from what little I know musically and your great notes.  Simply beautiful artwork.

Simply beautiful everything, nice to see you work on a subtle level after those Mondo mixes, which are great in their own right.

This looks lovely.  I particularly love the Eno, Fall, Staple Singers, Tindersticks, Sakamoto, TG... hell, I'd probably list 90% of these choices and your notes are interesting, as well.  Great work.
