Half the songs here (11) are from the year 1979, followed by 1978 (with 6) and then 1977 (with 5 tunes). One third of the songs are of the disco persuasion. The remaining songs include our featured artist of Elvis Costello (pictured) with two tunes.
For those of you who'd rather hear Dylan than Costello, you can replace the later with the former's "Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again" (but you'd need the MixMeister program to make the 20 tracks fit on a CD).

Same old thing from me. These songs might have been "bubbling Under" in the USA, but Billboard is not the only chart in the world! Some of these were big hits back home. I don't have the facts in front of me, but I think "Different For Girls" might have been a number 1 in the UK. Not really important though. What is important is that this is a solid set of great music as ever from the retro man!
PS. I had a personal connection to one of the songs here! #2
I'm not familiar with many of these... I like how you dig up the obscurities, Joe.
My kind of mix!
Holy crap, that Kenny/Dottie was a revelation. Echoing Alaimo's sentiment.
